On December 11, 2021, Mr. Imran Khan visited the site of Namal Knowledge City to interact with patrons and review the construction work being carried out. Namal is quickly transforming itself into a knowledge city. Work is in progress to prepare the site for the mega construction project aimed at transforming the entire region into an economic powerhouse. Plots have been leveled and paths have been paved for roads and other infrastructure.
During Mr. Imran Khan's visit, many friends of Namal came forward to communicate their earnest commitment towards this project. The Phase 1 of the Master Plan is expected to be completed by the year 2023 and will include 2.5 million square feet of construction.
