Azam Jamil is the Country Head for Siddiqi Hospitality (Pvt.) Ltd. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in hotel management from Cornell University. He has also served as the chairman of the Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC).

Syed Mansoor Sarwar

Dr. Syed Mansoor Sarwar is the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Engineering & Technology, Lahore. He has previously served as the Vice-Chancellor of Qarshi University. He did his Ph.D. and Master’s degree from Iowa State University in computer engineering.

Ashar Aziz

Ashar Aziz is the founder and Chairman of Sky Electric, Inc. which provides smart solar solutions. Based in Silicon Valley, California, he has initiated many entrepreneurial ventures. Mr. Aziz was born in Karachi and later moved to the US to pursue his studies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology School of Engineering (MIT). Aziz currently holds over 80 patents relating to various cybersecurity technologies, including in the fields of network security, cryptography, and data center virtualization.

Atta-ur-Rehman

An organic chemist by profession. Dr. Atta-ur-Rehman has become one of the most distinguished figures in the education sphere in Pakistan. He has authored several research papers and books and continues to actively promote higher education in Pakistan. He has also served as the Chairman of the Higher Education Commission. He has received his Ph.D. in organic chemistry from King’s College, University of Cambridge.

Rashid Amjad

Dr. Rashid Amjad is an educationist and one of the leading voices in Pakistan promoting higher education. He is a professor of economics and director of the Graduate Institute of Development Studies (GIDS) and Centre on International Migration, Remittances and Diaspora (CIMRAD), Lahore School of Economics. He has also served as the Vice Chancellor of the Pakistan Institute of Development Economics (PIDE) from 2007-2012.

Shahreyar Nawabi

Syed Javaid Anwar is the CEO of Midland Energy Inc. Born in Karachi, Pakistan, he moved to the USA where he graduated from the University of Wyoming. He later established his oil and gas conglomerate, Midland Energy. He is well-known as one of the most distinguished philanthropists in the US. He has supported many charities across the world.

Imran Khan

Imran Khan is a former cricket star who led Pakistan to its first World Cup victory in 1992. He later established Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital which pioneered cancer treatment and research in Pakistan. In 2005, after the devastating earthquake in Pakistan, he established the Imran Khan Foundation to provide humanitarian assistance to those affected by the natural calamity. In 2008, Namal College was set up in Mianwali to pave the way for the development of Pakistan’s largest knowledge city, Namal Knowledge City.

Sikandar Mustafa Khan

Sikandar Mustafa Khan serves as the Chairman of Millat Tractors Ltd. which is well known to have positively impacted Pakistan’s agriculture sector by promoting mechanized farming. Mr. Khan holds a Master’s degree and diploma in Production Engineering from Imperial College of Science and Technology, London University. He is also serving as a Member Board of Governors of Lahore University of Management Sciences.

Abdul Razak Dawood

Abdul Razak Dawood is one of Pakistan’s leading industrialists. He is the founder of Descon which provides a plethora of services in sectors including power, engineering, and chemicals. He has also served as an Advisor to the PM for Commerce, Investment, Industries & Production, and Textiles during Imran Khan’s tenure. Mr. Dawood has worked for several social delivery organizations. He is also the founder of The Bilquis and Abdul Razak Dawood (BARD) Foundation.

Aleema Khanum

Aleema Khanum is an entrepreneur and philanthropist. She is the founder of a Lahore-based textile-buying house, CotCom Sourcing (Pvt.) Ltd. She graduated with an MBA from the Lahore University of Management Sciences in 1989. Ms. Aleema served as Marketing Director of Shaukat Khanum Memorial Trust and is also a member of the board of the Namal Education Foundation and several charitable and social welfare organizations including the Hameed Muggo Trust and the SAARC Association of Home-Based Workers and Osteopathy Without Borders.

Arif Nazir Butt

Dr. Arif Nazir Butt teaches Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management in the graduate and Ph.D. programs at Suleman Dawood School of Business at the Lahore University of Management Sciences.

Uzma Khan

A doctor by profession, Dr. Uzma Khan is a vital member of the Namal community. She also serves as a Member Board of Governors of Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital (SKMCH) founded by Imran Khan in remembrance of their mother. Dr. Uzma has been serving Namal for many years and has been instrumental in propelling the university towards excellence.

Shahzad Hussain

Shahzad Hussain is the former Partner at A.F. Ferguson & Co. (PwC Pakistan). He specializes in financial management and accounting. Mr. Shahzad has been associated with Namal for many years and continues to play an active role through his leadership and extensive knowledge of corporate governance and corporate law.
